Proxio signs up more brokerages

Global marketing and networking platform operator Proxio Inc. has signed San Francisco-based brokerage Pacific Union International to its roster of affiliates.

Proxio translates real estate listings into 19 languages. In the San Francisco Bay Area, 45 percent of residents speak a foreign language at home, the company said.

"Top real estate firms recognize that Proxio’s services fill an important multicultural marketing gap, and are taking full advantage of the opportunity to distinguish themselves from their competition," Proxio co-founder and CEO Janet Case said in a statement.

Brokerages that license Proxio for listing translations on their public websites also gain access to an exclusive professional network of more than 450,000 real estate agents in 115 countries, the company said, including members of more than 40 national real estate associations on six continents.

Other recent additions to the Proxio network include Esslinger-Wooten-Maxwell (EWM) of Florida and Intero Real Estate Services in California’s Silicon Valley.

Prudential California Realty, which joined the Proxio network in January, recently expanded its use of Proxio into three additional multi-office franchises in Southern California.

Last fall, Proxio announced it had signed a new three-year agreement with FIABCI, the International Real Estate Federation, to provide FIABCI members access to Proxio’s global network of real estate professionals.

In February, the Miami Association of Realtors named ProxioPro International Marketing Product of the Year.
