Realtor-owned zipLogix and Stewart Title Co. subsidiary PropertyInfo Corp. have signed an agreement to create a platform that will integrate zipLogix’s electronic forms software with PropertyInfo’s transaction management system.
ZipLogix’ zipForm contract software is the official and exclusive forms software for the National Association of Realtors, which holds a 30 percent stake in the company valued at $7.3 million as of Sept. 30. The company is a joint venture between NAR and Real Estate Business Services Inc., a subsidiary of the California Association of Realtors. More than 600,000 real estate professionals use zipForm.
PropertyInfo’s SureClose transaction management system allows all parties in a deal to add, share, approve, view, and archive documents paperlessly; post and receive messages; receive automatic event notifications; and order settlement services, among other features.
“We are excited to integrate with zipLogix,” said Tom Groom, senior vice president, title and realty technology for PropertyInfo Corp., in an announcement today.
“We now have the most widely used forms and transaction management systems working together to provide the powerhouse of integrations for our customers. This will mark a truly integrated process for real estate agents and brokers from start to finish.”
The companies will demonstrate the integrated platform at NAR’s Midyear Legislative Meeting and Trade Expo, which runs from May 13-18 in Washington, D.C.
