Real estate technology and marketing company RealtyTech will soon launch eight new property search widget templates with responsive design for its agent websites.

Responsive design is a type of Web design that adapts a site’s layout according to a user’s screen size, allowing users to view a site comfortably on any device, including smartphones and tablets.

RealtyTech’s new templates will be free to clients who are currently using the firm’s Agent123 websites. The templates are set to be released in early February.

“The responsive search widget templates feature an intuitive and user-friendly home search widget, and offer a fresh new look to the Agent123 websites,” the Thousand Oaks, Calif.-based company said in a statement.

“[The responsive design] feature utilizes the space granted by the larger wide-screen monitors and smart televisions without compromising functionality on systems still using smaller screens.”

New-home search site BuildersUpdate.com recently relaunched with responsive design, catering to the growing use of mobile devices among real estate agents and consumers. Homes.com also launched a responsive design website platform for agents, Homes Connect Fusion, earlier this month.
