WebsiteBox partners with Zopim to offer up live chat for real estate websites

Real estate startup WebsiteBox has teamed up with tech firm Zopim to offer a live chat tool that allows agents to interact with their website visitors in real time.

Toronto-based WebsiteBox launched its mobile-friendly real estate websites in January 2013 for what it says is the lowest price on the market: a one-time, $99 payment. The firm also offers Web tools that cost $99 each to add on to the websites, including a Craigslist ad-building app, email marketing and a lead capture system released in August.

The Zopim add-on is offered as a “freemium” tool with a lite, free version; a basic version that costs $129 per year per user; and an advanced version that costs $239 per year per user.

In addition to live chats, the tool’s features include the ability to prompt chats with automated greetings; route chats to other agent team members; and to manage chats from a tablet or smartphone via a mobile application.

The tool also offers widget customization, chat transcripts, lead capture features, website visitor analytics, and automatic translation that allows agents to chat with visitors who speak a different language.

Singapore-based Zopim counts more than 130,000 businesses as users of its live chat product.

“We’re driven to find the best technology for our websites, software that can help accelerate the success of Realtors who utilize a WebsiteBox.com website, and Zopim really delivers,” said WebsiteBox CEO Peyman Aleagha in a statement.

“This is the kind of innovation that users love because it helps them work smarter.”

Earlier this month, WebsiteBox announced it had partnered with a total of 240 multiple listing services in the U.S. and Canada, allowing WebsiteBox users who belong to those MLSs to offer consumers the ability to search local listings on their websites.
