Agents who want to maximize their chances of converting leads into clients must respond to them as quickly as possible — no more than five minutes after receiving an inquiry, many experts say.

But given the hectic nature of agents’ day-to-day, this can be challenging.

Amitree has unveiled a slick autoresponder that can help agents ensure that no online leads slip through the cracks. The autoresponder is a new feature part of Amitree’s contact management app, which helps agents cultivate prospects and shepherd clients to the closing table using a dashboard that serves up a personalized checklist and timeline.

A number of customer relationship management systems, such as Kunversion, let agents set up autoresponders to quickly answer inquiries from prospects. They typically fire off canned text messages or emails as soon as an online lead contacts an agent or brokerage through a listing portal.

But Amitree’s autoresponder does more than just ping prospects. Through an email questionnaire, it prompts buyers to specify whether they want to see a property or just learn more about it, when they would like to see a property, how they would like to be contacted and whether they’d like to connect with a lender.

Today, we released a new scheduling feature for agents: Now, when you receive a lead who’s interested in a specific property on Zillow, Trulia or your other lead sources, Amitree prompts them to tell you some times when they are available to connect.

The questionnaire also can collect additional information that can help agents get a better picture of a buyer, such as whether they’re preapproved or have been looking at homes.

After a prospect submits the questionnaire, an agent receives a notification laying out all the prospect’s answers. From there, agents can tap to contact the client through phone, text message or email.

The autoresponder is part of a larger and evolving app that helps agents streamline their workflow. Amitree CEO Jonathan Aizen said his startup will add a slew of other features in the future. For example, agents will eventually be able to schedule property inspections with their preferred inspectors and help buyers secure home insurance.

“Without Amitree, these things get done with ad hoc text messages, phone calls, emails, and lots of back and forth — so we’re solving that need,” he said.

Users don’t have to remember to come to Amitree, he added. The app synchronizes with Google accounts so that the agents receives prompts to perform certain tasks.
