July 1

LoanLogics, a loan quality management and performance analytics technology company, has acquired assets of RexHub Corp., which provides SaaS solutions designed for real estate appraisal management. “The transaction combines our best-of-breed enterprisewide platform with the industry-leading, most advanced appraisal management technology in the mortgage business, that ensures improved efficiencies, improved accuracy and reduced costs for lenders,” said Brian K. Fitzpatrick, CEO and president of LoanLogics, in a statement.

July 2

Lone Wolf Real Estate Technologies Inc. announced the acquisition of Real Web Solutions Inc., a Toronto-based provider of real estate website software. “This acquisition aligns with our vision for the growth of our product and service offerings to real estate agents,” said Lorne C. Wallace, CEO of Lone Wolf, in a statement. “We have a strong foothold in the broker marketplace. Now we’re continuing to expand our presence in the agent marketplace.”

July 7

Dotloop announced partnerships with three independent brokerages: Ruhl & Ruhl Realtors in Iowa and Illinois, plus Turpin Real Estate and Jordan Baris Inc. Realtors in New Jersey. “These partnerships showcase dotloop as the collaboration platform of choice for independent brokerages, adding to the more than 430 independent firms already using dotloop,” said dotloop in a statement.

Informative Research, which provides data-driven risk management solutions for lenders and mortgage servicers, has partnered with CoreLogic to offer CoreLogic’s LoanSafe Risk Manager to Informative Research clients. “LoanSafe from CoreLogic stands head and shoulders above other fraud detection tools, particularly given the enormous pool of unique consortium-based fraud data it utilizes,,” said Stan Baldwin, Informative Research chief operating officer, in a statement. “It is by far the best product of its type and the only one that meets our uncompromising standards for accuracy and performance.”

Showing Suite has arranged to provide the Humboldt Association of Realtors MLS in California with its MLS showing scheduling system. “Our mission here at Humboldt Association of Realtors is to provide our clients with the best possible service,” said Lois Lee Busey, HAR executive officer, in a statement. “Whether helping to sell or buy a home, we look forward to offering greater transparency and up-to-date tools for our agents.”

Leading Real Estate Companies of the World named Moxi Works — an integrated system including CRM, presentation tools, agent websites and more — a preferred provider through its Solutions Group program, a collection of business tools offered to more than 500 real estate firms. “We are impressed by how Moxi Works takes a proven, sphere-based selling methodology for real estate and combines it with highly effective tools designed to support an agent’s success,” said Robin LaSure, vice president of corporate marketing for LeadingRE, in a statement. “The fact that it also offers a manager dashboard and automated coaching makes it even more compelling for our member firms.”

The Scripps Ranch Realty Executive Advantage franchise will merge with Windermere Homes & Estates. “I am excited to join Rich, Brian and the entire WHE family,” said Realty Executive Advantage owner and operator Jim Berns in a statement. “I believe that this merger is best for my agents and, most importantly, our two companies share the same values and beliefs.”

July 14

The Broker Public Portal (BPP) announced that it retained the Minneapolis law firm of Larson Skinner PLLC to assist in developing content license agreements for BPP’s projects. “They are a natural fit for the needs of the Broker Public Portal,” said Merle Whitehead, BPP chairman, in a statement. “They have been in the trenches of data licensing agreements with third-party sites like Zillow Group, Move and Realtors Property Resource.

Douglas Elliman Real Estate has announced that The Fieldstone Group has joined Douglas Elliman’s Connecticut brokerage. “We are so pleased to welcome The Fieldstone Group to Elliman and continue the expansion of our new Greenwich office with such wonderful talent,” said Dottie Herman, president and CEO of Douglas Elliman Real Estate, in a statement. “I am confident that with their intimate knowledge of every neighborhood and community in Greenwich, their stellar reputations and unique blend of complementary skills, they will be key drivers in the development of our firm’s reach and brand in Greenwich.”

Hilton & Hyland and PowerPlay Destination Properties announced a strategic partnership to converge in sales and marketing of new development properties. “The breadth and scope of projects PowerPlay has been involved with, combined with the depth and diversity of the projects Hilton & Hyland has been involved with, make this the perfect strategic partnership for us to collectively bring to life best-in-class development projects with myriad moving parts,” said Jeff Hyland, president, Hilton & Hyland, in a statement.

ClosingCorp, which provides residential real estate closing cost data and technology, announced that it has partnered with Bills.com, a resource for personalized money help, to provide closing cost data and a consumer-facing closing cost calculator. “For the past nine years, Bills.com has provided consumers with unbiased information from professionals and the ability to view customized loan offers, based on qualification criteria and programs from some of the best lenders in the country,” said Ethan Ewing, president of Bills.com. “Our deal with ClosingCorp now allows us to supply our customers with more complete details on the costs and fees associated with purchasing and refinancing a home, so they can go into the biggest transaction of their life with their eyes open.”

Homes.com and Re/Max renewed and expanded their technology and advertising agreement; Homes.com will power the remax.com website and suite of mobile applications through 2017. “We’re thrilled that Re/Max has once again selected Homes.com to power the most important elements of their online marketing efforts,” said David Mele, president of Homes.com, in a statement. “We offer Re/Max and its affiliates a unique approach, combining our innovative technology services with our vast consumer reach.”

ERA Real Estate announced the affiliation of Florida’s Home Run Real Estate. “The affiliation of Home Run Real Estate serves to expand ERA’s presence into a highly desirable market with significant growth potential and also augments the brand’s deep roots in Florida and the Southeastern United States,” said Charlie Young, president and CEO of ERA Real Estate, in a statement. “Under Debbie Smith’s energetic and enthusiastic leadership, this well-established and well-respected firm is poised to flourish.”

Zillow Group announced its intention to purchase real estate transaction management platform dotloop. “One of the primary reasons we’re acquiring dotloop is we think the value dotloop provides to brokers is significant, and we are going to be looking for ways to use dotloop to further improve the value proposition that Zillow Group can provide to broker partners and looking for ways to increase use of dotloop in the premier agents who advertise on Zillow Group,” said Zillow Group CEO Spencer Rascoff.

Broker Public Portal selected 1000watt to create the BPP brand and messaging. “We are excited to be moving forward with a strong and respected creative partner like 1000watt to bring our vision to life,” said Merle Whitehead, chairman of the BPP executive committee. “Their team understands real estate; they understand branding; and they are uniquely skilled at communicating.”

July 23

ShowingTime, a showing management technology provider, signed three MLS-wide licensing agreements to provide online showing management and feedback services to 43,000 more real estate professionals, bringing its total number of subscribers to 600,000. The MLSs are First MLS in Atlanta, Georgia; Intermountain MLS in Boise, Idaho; and the Ontario Regional Technology Information Service in Ontario, Canada. “Adding online scheduling and the ShowingTime Mobile App is a big win for our 32,500 members,” said First MLS President Cantey Davis in a statement. “We’re always looking to add technology that provides clear benefits.”

The Realtor Association of the Sioux Empire’s MLS will make Showing Suite’s MLS showing schedule system available to members. “We at the Realtor Association of the Sioux Empire have always been committed to enhancing our community and members,” said Kristen Gulson, Realtor Association of the Sioux Empire CEO, in a statement. “Showing Suite’s MLS tools fit along nicely with our organization and we are pleased to provide it for our members.”

HomeServices of America, a Berkshire Hathaway affiliate, announced its acquisition of First Weber Realtors, a Wisconsin brokerage firm, and its subsidiary Priority Title Corp. “First Weber is a strong company with excellent brand recognition and long-term ties to the communities it serves,” said Ron Peltier, chairman and CEO of HomeServices, in a statement. “This transaction aligns with our vision of acquiring distinguished companies in leading markets that share our core values.”

Cloud CMA, a Web-based report-generating application designed for real estate, is now available to members of the Realtors Association of Edmonton, including Liv Real Estate. “It’s not every day that I come across a product that not only makes our clients happy, but makes our agents happy, too,” said Sara MacLennan, of Liv Real Estate, in a statement. “Cloud CMA makes it easy for consumers to understand their property value and for our agents to create great-looking CMAs.”
