In this episode, the brothers discuss their top 10 life hacks. Life hacking refers to strategies and tactics used to increase efficiency and productivity in all aspects of a person’s life.

Thanks to apps and other services, we are easily able to automate, track and systemize every part of our day.

1. Communicate

Every business should aim to be the best iteration of itself, and part of that is adapting to new technologies within the workplace that only help the business run more smoothly.

Platforms such as Asana, Trello and Basecamp allow groups and individuals to collaborate and communicate effectively across multiple platforms.

2. Get to the cloud

Now that many companies have gone strictly digital, it’s vital that they have online or cloud storage systems in place. Services such as Dropbox and Evernote provide enormous storage and conveniently enable users to access their files from anywhere and on any device.

3. Uber your life away

Heard of a little ride-hailing company called Uber? If not, it’s time to come out of the rock you’ve been living under and emerge into a space where transportation arrives at the tap of an app.

Uber is a ride-hailing company that allows a user to call a driver, pay for the ride and rate the experience all in a smartphone app.

It has far surpassed standard taxi companies due to its lower rates, ease of use and hip persona. It’s made getting around easier and more convenient for everyone.

4. Trunk Club is the best club

Another service is Trunk Club, which assigns customers with a personal stylist who creates monthly packages of handpicked clothing that is delivered directly to the customer’s door.

Meaning, you never have to step inside another mall or sift through hundreds of product pages online looking for a perfect summer dress.

5. Sleep is kind of important

Another life hack we can all appreciate is one that lets you sleep better. The Sleep Tracker app measures your REM sleep while you’re dreaming and wakes you up at an interval that corresponds to your body’s rest patterns that leaves you more refreshed. From personal experience, it works.

6. Schedule better

Likewise, something we can all appreciate is proper scheduling. Using the Doodle service allows you to set a time with your group using a quick and easy voting system.

As Casey says, you’ll realize that it’s amazing this hasn’t existed for 10 years already.

7. Don’t disturb me, iPhone

When all this stuff gets you too distracted to work on your projects, sometimes a little silence is the best option.

Your iPhone has a “Do Not Disturb” option that’s perfect for allowing only the most important notifications through.

8. Amazon Prime makes you feel superhuman

There’s no easy way to say this, but if you order things online, Amazon Prime is so necessary to your well-being that it almost merits a grant from the government.

Free shipping, free movies and other services are just the tip of the iceberg — and it can help your business with several discounts, too.

9. Don’t be afraid of outsourcing

With services such as Upwork and 99designs, outsourcing your business’s design and social media needs are easier than ever before.

You can get in direct contact with your ideal designer by using whatever parameters you like. This life hack will make your business life easier.

10. Balance it all

In a world that moves as quickly and evolves as fast as ours, it has become increasingly harder to manage the perfect work-life balance.

Lifestyle management hacks are necessary for finally returning the balance to the work-life force and getting you back to doing what you love.

However, the Internet and technology can be a double-edged sword because it has enabled us to reach new heights of communication and collaboration quickly.
