Our Connect events are renowned for the education and motivations attendees experience — but they take up only 10 days of the year. What can you do with the other 355 days to keep the lessons you learned and the connections you made alive?
Here’s the best possible substitute for Connect: Join our Coast to Coast Facebook group.

Coast to Coast is exclusively for Inman Select members and Connect attendees. The mission of the group is to provide a space for you to “openly discuss, rally, learn, ideate, inspire and be inspired by others in our industry” while staying in the loop about current and future Connect events.
Here are three reasons to join today:
1. You can strengthen the relationships you started at Connect.
A few weeks ago, ISCF newbie Billy Ekofo wrote a sincere and compelling piece about his experience at ICSF this past August. In one section, Ekofo discusses the “magic” of Connect — the ability to network and learn from others.

Ekofo says: “Meeting and connecting with peers who are equally passionate about the industry is the core of Connect.” And any Connect event is only the starting point. It’s what you do afterwards to keep those connections alive that matters. Joining Coast to Coast is an easy and effective way to strengthen those connections throughout the year.
2. You can become a creator, not just a consumer.
Sometimes the journalistic process can be a little one-sided: We write the stories and you read them. How many times have you read a story and thought: “I would’ve added in this angle,” “I know someone who could’ve been a great source,” or even “I could’ve made this story better.”
As a Coast to Coast member, you can act on those thoughts and move from being a consumer to a viable part of the creation process by sharing your knowledge, experience and opinions with our talented staff of writers — or even the big man himself, Brad Inman.

Your thoughts become the basis of our eye-opening special reports, surveys and high-quality daily content. It could even open the door to becoming an Inman contributor and publishing pieces of your own.
3. Get the inside scoop.
In a recent article, “Antidote to industry fears about Zillow: Be proactive,” contributor Jose Perez writes about the importance of being proactive and staying ahead of the curve as the real estate industry changes.
One of the best ways to stay ahead of the curve is keeping your eyes on upcoming trends and changes before anyone else does, and Coast to Coast provides the chance to do just that. We post teasers to upcoming stories, talk about emerging trends and share exclusive content before anyone else can get their hands on it.
