Inman is interviewing top producers. Here’s Zach and Cody Vichinsky, co-founders of Bespoke Real Estate.
Where did you start?
We started our career in the Hamptons. Once we fell in love with the natural beauty of the Hamptons and the fantastic real estate, we instantly always knew that this would be a great market for us. — Zach Vichinsky
Did you imagine when you were younger that you’d be a top producer?
My brother and I definitely shared the same entrepreneurial spirit growing up. We always knew whatever we did we needed to innovate and strive to offer the best level of service possible. Real estate just seemed to happen naturally for us. — Cody Vichinsky
What sets you apart?
We have always felt that by being a team and being brothers we had a distinct advantage — having each other’s perspective to help align our focus. As the saying goes, two heads are better than one.

With this, we have been able to take a hard look at the inadequacies of the typical real estate broker, and we have really built our business by offering a higher level of service and information then others in our field. — Zach Vichinsky
How did you get there?
The old-fashioned way, hard work and determination. The true secret to our success comes from putting the energy into offering more than our competitors in each and every way. — Cody Vichinsky
Are you part of a team or are you doing it solo?
My brother and I are a team. — Zach Vichinsky
What does your administrative support team look like?
We really have an amazing support structure, where we have compartmentalized the departments at Bespoke to create a seamless flow of work, from the marketing department to the research and administrative departments. — Zach Vichinsky
Who are your heroes?
We have to say that working in this field has allowed us to meet some amazing people, and we admire the traits of a lot of different people for various reasons. There are so many ways of measuring success, we feel that rather than having one focal point, we take the best from everyone we meet. — Cody Vichinsky
What’s the first thing you do when you get to work in the morning? What’s the last thing you do before you leave?
On both ends, it would be check our emails and what’s going on in the market. At the level at which we operate, we need to stay on top of all the subtle nuances of the market in order best provide our clients with the most up-to-the minute data to guide their decisions. — Zach Vichinsky
What’s the first thing you do when you’re off work for the day?
Umm … off work for the day? — Cody Vichinsky
What’s your favorite place to unwind?
We are both fans of the Turks and Caicos Islands. — Zach Vichinsky
What areas of your business do you pay personal attention to? What have you outsourced?
We have built a full-service real estate company, and we are involved in every aspect of the business. Our clients require the best service, marketing and communication, and by being hands-on, we ensure they get just that. — Cody Vichinsky

What do you think is the biggest barrier to success in today’s real estate industry? How have you overcome it?
The truth is we haven’t found one. We have always worked hard and pushed through any barrier we have come up against. You have to have the attitude that not every tree is taken down with one chop — once you get that part figured, barriers are systematically taking down and you move on. — Zach Vichinsky
How do you deal with stress?
Stress is normal for everyone to feel at times. We accept that it is a factor of life, and that getting stressed out over things only impacts your judgement.
We enter each situation knowing there is a right way to get the job done and we don’t stop until we find the right way. It is that mentality that limits the stress in our work lives. — Cody Vichinsky
If you could change anything about your career path, would you? Why or why not?
At this point we wouldn’t change anything. We feel very fortunate and grateful to be in the position we are in. — Zach Vichinsky
