It’s here — that long final week until Christmas. A time of cheer, full of shopping, parties and lots of distractions from your daily routine.

The days are getting shorter, the holidays are looming and in most of the country the weather is an incentive to stay inside. A lot of real estate agents look at this time of year as being past the peak selling season, and part-time agents are packing it in for the year.

Yes, we love the holidays, but if you’re like a lot of agents, you may be feeling burned out and seeking some time off. But despite a less-active market, it’s also less competitive. Don’t quit now! There are lots of opportunities out there.

Today’s show is an in-depth overview of Cynthia Fisher’s 1997 Bond University study “Emotions at Work: What Do People Feel, and How Should We Measure It?,” and we’re discussing what this study means in terms of stress and emotional well-bring in your own personal workplace as a real estate professional.
