President of Manatee Cove Jennifer Spitznagel will now serve as director and senior broker associate of Brown Harris Stevens. As an experienced broker of the Palm Beach County region, she will continue to manage the aforementioned cities alongside Ava Van de Water, executive vice president and broker of Brown Harris Stevens of Palm Beach.

Brown Harris Stevens currently serves buyers in New York City, the Hamptons, Palm Beach and Miami, but the recent acquisition allows the firm to better hone in on the South Florida region and assist those clients more effectively.

“The vibrant South Florida market is an ideal site for our expansion,” Van de Water said. “Manatee Cove Realty’s agents possess unsurpassed knowledge of the market and a commitment to excellent client service that aligns precisely with the principles that Brown Harris Stevens has stood for since 1873.”

Brown Harris Stevens, procured by Terra Holdings, LLC in 1995, negotiates and closes over $7 billion in deals every year and is recognized as a leader in luxury properties across the nation. Brokers within the firm average around 20 years of sales experience — a notable level of expertise within the industry.

Manatee Cove specializes in coastal listings and had around 100 listed at the time Brown Harris Stevens made its purchase.

This isn’t the first purchase Brown Harris Stevens made recently. Last June, the firm acquired Zilbert International Realty, a Miami Beach brokerage of 30 agents that facilitates over $450 million in transactions each year. The firm is now called Brown Harris Stevens Zilbert.

Brown Harris Stevens was founded in 1873 and has since expanded to eight offices throughout the greater NYC region. The brokerage has offices on Park Avenue and across Madison Avenue, as well as offices in Tribeca, Park Slope and Brooklyn Heights.

Brown Harris Stevens also operates six offices in the Hamptons and two more in Miami. Aside from Manatee Cove’s current office at 619 Lake Ave. in Lake Worth, Brown Harris Stevens holds three storefronts in Palm Beach.
