Zumper recently examined the median rent prices for one-bedroom homes in Brooklyn. Here are its findings:
- Over the past year, rents for both one and two-bedroom units in New York City have each appreciated over 4 percent.
- The most expensive neighborhoods to rent in Brooklyn were Dumbo, Vinegar Hill and Williamsburg — all within the $3,000-$4,000 range.
- More affordable prices could be found for less than $1,650 a month in neighborhoods such as Brownsville, East Flatbus and Flatlands.
