Realogy has seen a lot of movement lately — first Coldwell Banker hired a new CEO, and then ERA had to replace its CEO because, well, he got hired to run Coldwell Banker.
Now, the latest franchise brand in the franchise group to announce a new C-suite executive is Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate (BHGRE), which has hired Daniel Dannenmann as its new chief operating officer (COO).
“Dannenmann will oversee all aspects of domestic and international business operations, including servicing, financial management and collaboration with the brand’s franchise sales team. He will report directly to President and Chief Executive Officer Sherry Chris,” wrote BHGRE in a statement.
“As Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate continues to move forward, we’ve reached a point of critical mass that presents the perfect time to elevate this role to meet the demands of our brand’s growth,” said Chris in the statement. “We’ve taken our time to find the right person and right fit for this position, and I believe that Daniel’s expertise in operations and franchising will strongly complement our existing senior leadership team. We’re excited to leverage Daniel’s impressive experience in scaling brands and building processes and infrastructure to position Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate for growth both in North America and internationally.”
Dannenmann comes to BHGRE from his previous job as vice president for Asia Pacific at customer experience firm BARE International.
“Sherry is truly an inspirational leader, and her unwavering vision for the brand’s lifestyle focus continues to set Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate apart from competitors,” said Dannenmann in the statement. “I’m most excited about the opportunity to help define, build and implement transformational initiatives across the brand’s expansive network of more than 10,000 affiliated sales associates and 300 offices.”
