WATCH: Robert Reffkin spills the beans on what Compass pays for acquisitions

“The vision I have for Compass is that 10 years from now, the majority of people buy homes from Compass agents. That agents at Compass are viewed almost like brokerages in themselves — they’ll personally brand their own sites,” Compass CEO Robert Reffkin said at this year’s Inman Connect San Francisco.

“We’re a platform. And they’re not just buying a home from agents; they’re buying everything afterward,” he continued.

Listen in as Compass CEO Robert Reffkin addresses these and other fears, uncertainties and doubts surrounding his revolutionary real estate company (including exactly how much his company pays to acquire brokerages).
