Homesnap, a mobile house shopping app, has tallied an average of 500,000 home showings each year since partnering with management and market analytics firm ShowingTime in 2015, company executives announced.
“The integration between Homesnap and ShowingTime was a natural fit, and agents have embraced this key feature in Homesnap Pro at a high volume,” Lou Mintzer, chief product officer at Homesnap, said in a prepared statement issued earlier this month. “This milestone demonstrates the power of Homesnap’s reach and the sheer numbers of agents actively using the platform.”
Homesnap Pro, which allows agents to pull property listings and contact information from their MLS directly into the app, also allows for ShowingTime meetings to be scheduled without leaving the app. According to the company, Homesnap Pro agents have arranged approximately 500,000 showings using ShowingTime last year — a significant number given the fact that its services reach 850,000 agents in 145 MLS platforms.
“It’s clear from the numbers that the Homesnap integration with ShowingTime has been a success,” said ShowingTime President Michael Lane. “We expect adoption will continue to grow, since Homesnap Pro users can take advantage of a very efficient scheduling process.”
Both companies have been expanding to incorporate new high-tech features into their products. In May, ShowingTime launched a new messaging platform aimed at helping real estate agents communicate with each other about property information such as listings, sales and property tours.
