UPDATE: F.H. Realty is no longer an affiliate of Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate.
Realogy Corp. franchisor Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate is expanding its footprint in the New York City market with the addition of Queens-based real estate brokerage F.H. Realty.
Broker and CEO Michael Protiva will continue to lead the 30-year-old brokerage, which provides services to all of Queens, N.Y., with a high concentration of properties in Forest Hills, Forest Hills Gardens, Kew Gardens, Rego Park and Middle Village.
The firm, which will do business as Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate F.H. Realty, specializes in residential and mixed-use properties, co-ops and condominiums, employing agents who speak more than 22 languages collectively.
Their familiarity with the cultures and customs of the diverse market has been a key factor in the company’s growth into new communities within Queens, the companies said in an announcement.
F.H. Realty is the franchisor’s second affiliate in the New York City market. In November, Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate announced that Staten Island-based Safari Realty was affiliating with the brand.
The Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate network includes approximately 7,000 sales associates and more than 200 offices serving Canada and 24 U.S. states: Alabama, Arizona, California, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Pennsylvania, Maine, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Nevada, North Carolina, Ohio, Oregon, South Carolina, Texas, Tennessee, Vermont, Virginia and Washington.
