Your clients loves the house you just showed them. But, they wonder, how long will it take them to get to work?

TouchCMA, an interactive presentation tool for real estate agents that helps them showcase their knowledge of local markets to buyers and sellers, now shows commute times between a listing and a client’s workplace, day care provider, and other frequently visited locations, powered by INRIX Drive Time.

TouchCMA with INRIX Drive Time is powered by the INRIX Traffic Intelligence Platform, which analyzes data from sources like road sensors and accident reports, combined with real-time traffic speeds crowdsourced from 100 million vehicles and devices. The platform can adjust for factors like the day of the week, weather, accidents and road construction to help drivers avoid being stuck in traffic.

“When agents present homes and neighborhoods, buyers want to know as much as possible about drive times,” said York Baur, CEO of TouchCMA developer Windermere Solutions, in a statement. “With INRIX Drive Time, our clients now have unique and incredibly valuable information to assist homebuyers in the home-finding process. This insight gives them a competitive edge, and helps them better serve their role as trusted advisers to their customers.”

TouchCMA claims 3 out of 4 of the nation’s largest independent brokerages as clients, and a user base of more than 20,000 real estate agents who use the tool’s ability to access listing data from their multiple listing service to provide insights about market trends to buyers and sellers.

With the incorporation of INRIX Drive Time into the TouchCMA presentation tool, “hundreds of thousands of buyers will now use INRIX,” the companies said.

Two big national franchise brands — Re/Max LLC and Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices — have licensed INRIX’s technology for their websites. Last year CoreLogic said it would offer INRIX Drive Time to MLSs that run on its platforms.

Walk Score, a neighborhood-discovery and rental-search site, offers a widget that websites can add to Google Maps to show travel-time estimates.
