Dotloop set out to attract large, multioffice brokerages with an update to its transaction management platform in January that included enhanced customer service and training, and customization and branding options.
Today the transaction management platform maker announced that it had signed up Wallingford, Conn.-based Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices New England Properties, which has 52 offices and more than 1,500 agents in Connecticut and Rhode Island.
BHHS New England Properties will provide the dotloop platform to its agents, which allows them to store, sign, share and collaborate on deals digitally with all parties of a transaction.
The firm will also use dotloop-DASHBOARD, a tool that aids in transparency and ensuring compliance by giving brokerages real-time views into all of their firms’ transactions.
“Selecting dotloop means we can build on our reputation for excellent service while closing more deals,” said Candace Adams, president and CEO of BHHS New England Properties, in a statement. “Real estate is one of the most important events in our clients’ lives, so the easier we can make it for our agents to provide a great experience, the better.”
Dotloop has targeted large brokers as a way to grow its platform and currently says it has more than 3,000 using its technology.
“We’ve found that the best way to reach agents is through brokers,” dotloop CEO Austin Allison told Inman News in January when he announced the firm’s new focus.
In February, dotloop and the Arizona Association of Realtors activated an agreement that allows AAR members to sign, fill out and revise association forms within the platform. The deal had stalled for 16 months while dotloop addressed AAR’s concerns that unauthorized users may have access to the association’s forms in the platform.
Last September, BHHS New England Properties — formerly Prudential Connecticut Realty — was one of the first brokerages to transition to the new Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices brand, which welcomed its first convert on Sept. 23.
