One of the largest multiple listing services in the nation, Midwest Real Estate Data LLC, has signed a multiyear renewal agreement with dynaConnections Corp. for its highly rated connectMLS platform.

MRED has nearly 40,000 subscribers. The Lisle, Illinois-based MLS has been a dynaConnections customer since 2003, back when MRED was the Multiple Listing Service of Northern Illinois (MLSNI). At the time, dynaConnections was a 2-year-old Austin, Texas-based startup founded by former Realtor and current CEO Tim Ford.

“[MRED’s] staff and membership share our constant push for innovation, and embrace our drive to surpass what the real estate industry expects of its MLS solution provider. We look forward to seeing what new achievements we can reach together,” Ford said in a statement.

In June, MRED announced that, in partnership with dynaConnections, it had committed to making connectMLS more “mobile friendly,” starting with incorporating responsive design into the online property portals its members share with clients.

MRED is the largest user of ConnectMLS, which serves more than 48,000 Realtors, according to the company. ConnectMLS got top marks from users in satisfaction surveys conducted in the past year by consulting firms Clareity Consulting and the WAV Group.

“Our mission is to provide the very best MLS to our customers,” said Jeff Gregory, chairman of the board for MRED, in a statement.

“We have succeeded thanks in large part to dynaConnections, whose staff has been relentless in delivering an MLS solution that is unsurpassed in the industry. Their customer service and responsiveness to our staff is top-notch.”

Russ Bergeron, former MRED president and CEO, resigned from the MLS in June. MRED has retained executive search firm Leonard Pfeiffer & Co. to search for his replacement. MRED declined to comment further on the matter.
