Setting up a website that hosts listing search, captures leads and publishes blog posts can be challenging.
But the real estate website provider Placester says it’s turned the process into a cakewalk.
Placester, which provides website solutions to real estate agents, brokers and listing sites, has made it possible for agents to launch websites in just five minutes, a process that used to take a minimum of three hours, according to CEO Matt Barba.
The company’s revamp of its setup process is a response to agent feedback that Barba said revealed two big problems with agent websites: They offer too many design choices, and they take too long to set up.
Placester’s website solution, which costs $45 a month, features responsive, customizable designs, Internet data exchange (IDX) and social media integration, blogging capability, phone and email support, and lead capture functionality.
The company has also overhauled the back-end dashboard for its agent sites, offering a new interface featuring drop-down navigation and slide-out menus that let agents manage settings and perform maintenance tasks without loading a new page.
The redesign follows the company’s debut of a white-label solution that offers local media companies free-text search and a native advertising system geared towards real estate.
Backed by leading investors including Romuls Capital and Techstars, Placester has raised $8.9 million in total funding to date.
