Real estate website provider Placester has partnered with Cox Media Group to power the digital real estate sections for eight of its properties, including the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, the Austin American-Statesman and the Palm Beach Post.

Placester says its listing search platform adds new features to the publications’ online real estate sections while increasing local advertising revenue opportunities.

It’s a “single solution to manage consumer search, real estate listing inventory and associated ad products,” the company said.

“With Placester, Cox Media Group now has the tools to provide real estate professionals what they’re looking for when they go to spend their $12 billion annually on online marketing,” said Placester CEO Matt Barba in a statement.

Placester says its listing search platform allows sites with local audiences to monetize the product with listing display and ad technology similar to large real estate portals like Zillow, Trulia and realtor.com.

Placester already powers the real estate websites for the media giant Hearst Corp., which operates 15 daily newspapers including the Houston Chronicle, San Francisco Chronicle, San Antonio Express-News and Albany Times Union.

In addition to its product for publishers, Placester offers one of the cheapest agent website solutions available.

Realtors can get a personal website equipped with a listing search tool for just $5 a month, thanks to a deal the National Association of Realtors inked with Placester in November.

In December, Placester broadened its offering by launching a broker platform that lets companies monitor incoming leads and manage all of their team’s websites from a branded master dashboard.
