Gill South is an experienced business journalist who has written about real estate in the U.K., New Zealand and the U.S. She has also covered commercial property, small business, the retail industry, careers and personal finance as well as working on the launch of three newspapers and a couple of websites.
Gitanjali Shukla
Gitanjali Shukla, Data Scientist
Gitanjali Shukla started off her career with one of the giants in the mortgage servicing industry, Berkadia, a subsidiary of Berkshire Hathaway. She now handles Data Science at Inman News. She’s a skilled professional with statistical and business intelligence skills bundled with strong business acumen and operational understanding. She also serves as the New Projects Committee Co-Chair at Statistics Without Borders (SWB), an outreach arm of American Statistical Association (ASA).
Jennye Garibaldi

Jennye is an award-winning content strategist and editor with more than 10 years experience in print and digital publishing including: Executive Editor for Fest300.com; Commissioning Editor for Lonely Planet; and most recently Director of Event Content for Inman News. When she’s not booking speakers for Connect events, Jennye can be found torturing herself in HIIT classes, planning social events outside of Inman, and adding to her extensive shoe collection. She lives in Alameda with her husband and sassy daughter.
Astrid Storey
Astrid Storey, Creative Director
Born and raised in Panama, Astrid Storey immigrated to the States shortly after her college graduation. She’s spent the next decade-and-half since juggling a career in a variety of designer roles with a growing portfolio of corporate, small business and nonprofit clients. A member of the Society of Publication Designers and AIGA, she’s been published in “Freelance Design” in Practice by Cathy Fishel, How Books in 2009 and earned an American Graphic Design Award for her work in Connexion magazine, a member publication for MGMA. Astrid is married and lives in Denver with one daughter and a pair of dogs.
Kyle Pursell
Kyle Pursell, Growth Marketing
Kyle brings a data-driven approach to growth at Inman News as a public accountant turned growth marketer. Kyle’s aim is to empower all professionals who are serious about staying up to date with the most relevant real estate news and trends. Prior to Inman, Kyle led operations and marketing efforts at RealScout. A graduate from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo in Accounting, he enjoys craft beers, fun at the beach, and collecting rare vinyls.
