- An agreement between Move Inc. and zipLogix will allow Move's transaction management platform, Reesio, to integrate zipForms. Reesio has already been integrated with Move's Top Producer CRM.
- The integrations will bring Move closer to building an end-to-end transaction platform to improve agents' productivity and efficiency and consumers' transaction experience.
Real estate technology company Move Inc. has signed a deal with Realtor-owned firm ZipLogix, the company announced today.
Move will integrate zipLogix’ digital transaction forms into its recently-acquired Reesio transaction management platform, which has now been integrated with Move’s Top Producer customer relationship management system.
One step closer to end-to-end
The agreement brings Move, a News Corp. subsidiary and operator of realtor.com, closer to building the latest object of competition in the real estate industry: an end-to-end transaction platform to help agents and brokers shepherd their clients from lead to close to repeat and referral business.
The integration will allow real estate pros to “streamline and simplify” paperwork for customers and position them as “expert managers” of the complex transaction process, Move said.
“This agreement is a perfect convergence of two fundamentally aligned platforms built by real estate professionals, for real estate professionals, to help make the process easier and more efficient for our customers and for consumers,” said Luke Glass, executive vice president of industry platforms for Move, in a statement.
Through the now-complete integration between Top Producer, which has nearly 600 MLS customers, and Reesio, Reesio’s customers can initiate a transaction by easily importing property information from the MLS, Move said.
ZipLogix licenses real estate forms from more than 280 trade associations and brokers. The integration of the company’s zipForm Plus and zipForm Mobile’s library of transaction documents into Reesio will take a few months, Move told Inman. At that point, brokers and agents will be able to work seamlessly between Reesio, Top Producer CRM, and zipForm, according to the company.
When asked whether agents needed to be customers of both Reesio and Top Producer to take advantage of the integration, a Move spokeswoman said, “Users are not required to be customers of both Top Producer and Reesio to leverage many of the benefits of the integration; they each could be used separately.
“That said, users who are customers of both Top Producer and Reesio have the best opportunity to leverage all of the benefits of the integration — the most significant being a truly seamless, end to end transaction process.”
Reesio, Top Producer and ZipForm, united
In order to take advantage of the Reesio-ZipForm integration, Reesio customers will not also have to be customers of Top Producer, but they will need to connect to their zipForms account.
“ZipForm software automates the repetitive and complex steps of the real estate transaction by digitally populating information into each form,” Move said.
“Its integration directly into the Reesio platform will create a seamless interface and easy to manage workflow matched with stringent data security and protection protocols along the entire transaction.”

The reference to data security is a reminder that Move’s no. 1 competitor, Zillow Group, purchased transaction management company dotloop in mid-2015, inspiring angst around data security for some in the industry. Dotloop unveiled a “data privacy guarantee” last month, apparently in an effort to ease these concerns.
Dotloop and the California Association of Realtors have previously butted heads over forms licensing. ZipLogix is a joint venture between the National Association of Realtors and CAR subsidiary Real Estate Business Services Inc. (REBS). As of the end of 2013, NAR owned an approximately 30 percent interest in zipLogix, carrying a value of $4 million.
More than 650,000 real estate pros nationwide use zipForm software — a number that’s poised to grow this quarter when NAR and zipLogix flip the switch on a deal to offer zipLogix’ software to all of the nation’s 1 million Realtors free of charge.
