- Probate is the legal process by which the title to a property is passed from someone who's deceased to someone who's living. (Most properties go through probate).
- Look beyond beyond the Internet for the highest quality leads. You'll find probate data, for example, at the courthouse.
Let’s face it, not all seller leads are equal.
When sellers reach out to an agent to list their home, it indicates some level of motivation — but their timing, pricing requirement and flexibility along with a host of other factors definitely affect their days on market, as well as the time and effort you spend to sell their home.
What you need as an agent aren’t just leads but motivated leads who have a pressing desire to expedite the sale.
While some people are naturally motivated, if you’re actively hunting for leads, the best place to find motivation is in transitional life situations, such as probate, divorce, foreclosure, marriage or relocation.
