What you should know
HomeASAP builds agents a feature-rich, visually ergonomic property search tool.
Ease of use is a highlight here as a bevy of small, practical touches come together to make for a compelling user experience.
The map search initially limits pinned property icons to only the most recent listings to hit the market, which helps viewers avoid visual overload.
The map also defaults to a viewing scale that allows home shoppers to grasp where they are and which listings they’re viewing.
The radius search tool is easy to operate and the sidebar offers thumbnail visuals of the available properties.
Turning off the map gives browsers a clean grid of homes and multiple levels of information. One click flips the property card to offer an overview; another opens the full, photo-heavy listing view.
There’s a wonderful absence of ads from other agents and services.
Mobile users should enjoy the pull tabs that reveal additional listing data while maintaining the initial map view.
This prevents viewers from having to click back or retrace their browsing steps, a common annoyance in content-rich web experiences.
There’s also a wonderful absence of ads from other agents and services. This gives a home shopper breathing room and also allows the page to load faster.
All of this search functionality can be limited to only the agent’s and his or her firm’s accounts. Or, the user can browse across the market.
HomeASAP also designs Facebook for Business pages for agents, from which their home search functionality is also accessible via the Find Home tab beneath the cover image.
The company provides Facebook post content to promote services and share industry news.

Whether searching from Facebook or the agent’s landing page, shoppers can see integrated community content about schools, commute times and nearby amenities. Each listing also has a nice series of icons to visually communicate beds, baths, square footage and other listing details.
Web page and user metrics can be monitored via an app that’s included with a HomeASAP accounts.
Consumer reactions
HomeASAP is built on Facebook’s React platform, an ideal base of code for fluid interface design and flexible, stable user experiences.
It’s why HomeASAP’s search functionality was preferred by the majority of a 40-person focus group (in addition to the absence of cumbersome ads from competitors) the company paid to have conducted.
Eight out of 10 found the user experience superior to Zillow’s, and two found it equal in quality.
I would expect such a result. It is a very well-done, user-centric tool for homebuyers.
It even has a “lights-off” option that darkens the background to accommodate browsing in a dark office or bedroom.
HomeASAP teased a number of marketing advancements to support agents’ efforts to attract leads. The updates are expected in the coming weeks.
Absent of those updates, HomeASAP remains a product web-savvy real estate marketers will want to consider.
