As a leading Houston employee healthcare firm, The Stevenson Group has been associated with the local construction industry for over four decades. Now, the local firm is part of Digital Benefit Advisors, a national benefits organization.
The Stevenson Group’s 16 team members and two principals, Brian and Audrey Stevenson, will continue working with associations including the Greater Houston Builders Association. They will be joining a national benefits firm that allows the company to incorporate added resources and tech solutions.
“We realized in order to continue building our niche of working with trade associations, such as the Greater Houston Builders Association, and progressing to the next level and beyond, we needed to align with a dynamic industry leader who has the expert resources, impressive bandwidth and technology competencies of a national firm,” Brian Stevenson said.

Digital Benefits Association is owned by Fidelity National Financial, the country’s largest provider of commercial and residential mortgage and owner of Black Night Financial Services.
Houston employee healthcare firm relationships
Currently, the Stevenson Group maintains relationships with four major construction and contracting firms, including the Greater Houston Builders Association.
In addition, the company works with the Associated Builders and Contractors of Greater Houston, the Associated General Contractors of America (Houston chapter) and the Houston Contractors Association.
Three of the organizations are the largest in Houston, representing 3,000 companies in total. Relationships with these groups allows the Houston employee healthcare firm to provide preferred and affordable rates.
DBA’s local expansion
This isn’t DBA’s first dip into the Houston market. Last year, the company acquired Warren Business Services, a full-range benefits company specializing in disability insurance planning. Warren Kolb serves as the managing principal of both Houston DBA offices.
Mike Sullivan, DBA’s chief growth officer, says the acquisition further develops its presence in the Southwest.
Digital Benefit Advisors is a division of Digital Insurance, the nation’s largest employee benefits-only agency and an Inc. 5000 fastest-growing company since 2007.
“Joining Digital significantly increases our firm’s capabilities, especially in today’s evolving, complex health insurance environment,” said Stevenson.
