Virtual brokerage eXp Realty has expanded to the state of Nebraska and appointed real estate veteran Randy Carroll to lead the new operation, the company announced today. Carroll, who has worked as a real estate agent, was most recently managing broker at Heartland Properties, one of Southwest Iowa’s largest brokerages.
Omaha-based Carroll has also held a number of industry positions, including serving on the board of directors for the Southwest Iowa Association of Realtors and as a task force chairman for the Southwest Iowa Multiple Listing Service.
With its expansion to Nebraska, eXp Realty now operates in 47 states across the country. That leaves just South Dakota, Vermont and West Virginia among the states eXp has yet to launch in. Accounting for its presence in Alberta and Ontario, Canada, the brokerage counts more than 6,500 agents across North America region.
“EXp Realty is excited to continue its expansion across the United States and open in our 47th state — Nebraska!” said Mary Frances Coleman, eXp Realty chief operating officer in the press statement. “Our objective is to provide support for the most professional real estate agents and services to the homebuyers and sellers who look to our agents to assist them with one of their most complex financial and legal transactions. We are proud to have Randy Carroll leading state operations, with his impressive and accomplished background in the industry.”
A subsidiary of the publicly held eXp World Holdings, eXp Realty provides its agents with training and networking opportunities on its virtual campus environment, eXp World. The publicly traded company, eXp World Holdings, offers eXp Realty agents opportunities to earn company stock based on their production and recruitment of new agents to the company.
