Lake Homes Realty’s expansion has come as a wholly owned brokerage with no franchising. Glenn Phillips said the company’s website provides a one-stop shop for buyers searching for waterfront properties, utilizing data from nearly 100 local multiple listing services. Although the company is not a virtual brokerage, it’s tech-enabled, he said.

Fast-growing niche brokerage Lake Homes Realty announced today that it is expanding its operations to six more states: Vermont, Nebraska, Idaho, Iowa, Kentucky and Louisiana. The firm, which focuses on the waterfront and lake-adjacent properties suggested by its name, now has 120 agents in a total of 24 states across the U.S.

“2018 was a fantastic year for Lake Homes Realty,” CEO Glenn Phillips said in a statement. “In the last 12 months, we’ve relocated to a larger corporate headquarters, hired additional upper management, and through the year added eight new states to our market footprint.”

Among those states added in 2018 were Maine and Florida. Lake Homes Realty’s growth added it to the nation’s fastest-growing companies for the second straight year in a row by INC. Magazine’s 5000 list.

Lake Homes Realty’s expansion has come as a wholly-owned brokerage with no franchising.

“We are obsessed with having fewer, but higher-producing agents,” Phillips said. “Our agents annually average almost 30 sides per agent.”

Phillips said the company’s website provides a one-stop shop for buyers searching for waterfront properties, utilizing data from nearly 100 local multiple listing services. Although the company is not a virtual brokerage, it’s tech-enabled, he said

“We are a new breed of tech-enabled service companies that fuses the power and convenience of the web with the personal service that can only be provided by our expert real estate agents on each lake,” Phillips said. “This provides a unique advantage to lake real estate buyers and sellers.”

With the continued expansion, Lake Homes Realty is better able to match buyers and sellers with hyper-local focused agents in their local market.

“With each new state we enter, our company is able to better serve the nation’s lake home buyers, sellers,” Phillips said. “Leveraging technology, personal service, and expertise is critical for success as a real estate company today, and we’re proof of that.”
