“An experience has to feel real, and it has to be something that you can replicate,” said Jennifer Marchetti, chief marketing officer of Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate. “The most important thing when you’re thinking about what you want to project to your sphere and your community, you have to do what you actually love.”

She explains that if you’re not someone who loves to write, but you have a knack for the interpersonal, that’s how you should create your experiences.

“As a real estate professional, where you begin and end as a person, and where you begin and end as a brand, there’s no demarcation between that,” Marchetti said. “So you have to think about the experience you’re providing not only professionally, but personally because there’s no difference.”
