Remine Agent Pro includes a host of tools including a feature that predicts the likelihood a home will sell. Subscribers to Bright MLS now get it for free.

The massive Bright MLS, which serves nearly 100,000 agents across the Mid-Atlantic region, announced Monday that every member will now have access to powerful new analytics software from Remine, a startup known for predicting which homes might sell in the future.

The new partnership will give agents in Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Washington, D.C. and West Virginia access to Remine Pro for no additional cost. According to a statement from Bright MLS, that means subscribers will now “have expansive property data, presented through a brand-new intuitive user interface.”

Remine Pro was previously available to Bright MLS subscribers as a paid add-on. The organization estimates that giving the product to its agents for free amounts to a $200 per month value.

Remine Pro includes an array of features including map-based searches that draw on property records, contact information that agents can use for prospecting, market analysis tools that include both on- and off-market properties and a customer relationship management (CRM) system. The software also includes collaboration tools.

However, Remine is probably best known for its scoring system that predicts the the likelihood of a home hitting the market. That tool is also part of Remine Pro and will thus be available for free to members of Bright MLS.

Brian Donnellan

Bright MLS serves an area spanning more than 40,000 square miles and has 95,000 subscribers. The organization has had a running relationship with Remine, and Bright MLS president and CEO Brian Donnellan told Inman that as many as 2,000 of his organization’s members were already using Remine Pro as a paid add-on.

Feedback from those users has been positive. And now that the product will be free, Donnellan estimated that between 30 percent and 50 percent of Bright MLS subscribers could end up using it in the near future.

He also praised Remine’s approach to organizing information, and expressed confidence that it would help Bright MLS members.

“This is what we do, we’re here to provide the best tools and the best information and the best service to our subscribers,” Donnellan said. “We want to be the next generation MLS. We realize the world is changing every day and we’re just trying to keep up with it. We measure our success by our subscribers being successful.”

In a statement, Donnellan added that “in the spirit of giving more of a good thing, we wanted to provide all of our subscribers with the power of Remine Pro within their core subscription to Bright MLS.”

Virginia-based Remine was founded in 2015 and earlier this year raised $30 million. The company has also steadily expanded its partnerships, and according to a statement Monday is now available to more than 1 million agents and their clients in 50 markets.

Leo Pareja, Remine’s CEO, added in a statement that “real estate professionals from Virginia to New Jersey are now better equipped to thrive in a time of change thanks to this expanded access.”
