The real estate industry is the most generous industry in the United States, with some 82 percent of Realtors participating in charitable giving.
But many agents and brokerages go above and beyond, making philanthropy a key priority for their business. During Luxury Connect, Caroline Pinal, co-founder of Giveback Homes, shared stories about 10 of these inspiring agents and the ways that they’ve given back to their communities this year.
In Denver, Colorado, there’s Compass agent Jessica Northrop, who supports affordable housing with a yearly goal to fund one complete home in Central America and sponsor a team build day in her own city. Then there’s Josh Dickinson in Northern California, who owns the state’s first B-corporation-certified brokerage, which means his business is held to the highest standards of social and environmental impact.
