Goomzee Corp. says it’s the first mobile technology solutions provider to bundle two-way text message marketing, QR code marketing with lead capture, and branded mobile IDX into one mobile product suite.

The Missoula, Mont.-based company’s product suite, Realty Connect, integrates with multiple listing service’s (MLS) Internet data exchange (IDX) systems. Mobile marketing campaigns and mobile property pages are automatically generated and linked to the agent’s listings, eliminating double entry, the company said.

Yard signs, fliers, websites and print advertisements invite potential buyers to send a text message with a unique property ID code, or scan a QR code. Realty Connect delivers listing information, pricing and photos to prospects via text message or mobile property page, and sends agents lead alerts either via e-mail or text message. Agents can follow up directly from their phone, or log into their administration website and monitor lead activity or interact with contacts.

Goomzee says that in the past, one problem for real estate agents attempting to adopt technologies like QR codes (short for quick response code) was that they redirected consumers to a Web link, but did not offer lead capture. Goomzee says it has designed a unique method of device and user identification that verifies leads and generates lead alerts when QR Codes are scanned without requiring an app download to track leads.

Goomzee said it’s also figured out how to reuse QR codes and avoid costly rebranding of signs and promotional material for each new property listing.

"We were so thrilled with the innovations that we filed additional patents so we can offer our customers an exclusive, best-of-breed mobile marketing platform that is truly second to none," Goomzee founder and CEO Mike Sparr said in a statement.

Goomzee said it redesigned its corporate website in support of its new product offerings and relaunched the site Monday.

Christie’s rebrands referral network

Luxury referral network Christie’s Great Estates has rebranded as Christie’s International Real Estate.

The network of luxury residential property specialists has a global clientele, and "The name change will instill in these consumers a more immediate grasp of the company’s mandate and clarify that Christie’s and its real estate arm are one and the same," the company said.

The referral network is "positioned to follow the footprint of its parent company (art auctioneer Christie’s), into the growing markets of the Middle East, Russia and China, as well as established economies across the world, most notably North and South America and Europe."

The rebrand will be spearheaded by Lisa King, chief operating officer of Christie’s and chairman of Christie’s International Real Estate, and Neil Palmer, chief executive officer and architect of the real estate business’s global strategy.

The network’s website, Christiesrealestate.com, has "been completely made-over," the company said, and imbued with a "sleek new look enhanced by improved functionality."

Notable members of the Christie’s International Real Estate Network include Michael Saunders & Co., a Southwest Florida brokerage with more than 500 sales associates. Michael Saunders ended a 25-year affiliation with the Sotheby’s real estate brand when Realogy Corp. predecessor Cendant licensed the Sotheby’s name in 2004 and converted the referral network to a franchise model.
