A little background to RPR
Realtors Property Resource (RPR) is a national database providing a detailed view of over 147 million parcels of property, including; public record and tax assessment information, details of prior transactions and sales history, zoning, permits, mortgage and lien data, FEMA flood maps, neighborhood and school district boundaries, as well as the largest database of foreclosure information by county in the industry.
RPR is an exclusive benefit available to members of the National Association of REALTORS®. To find out if RPR has been rolled out in your area, start here.
Whew, that was a mouthfull. But as you can imagine from all that data, the report output is highly valuable for your clients. Below I’m going to share some easy ways to display RPR Reports using your iPad.
How do I get RPR Reports to my iPad?
iBooks – Free [In iTunes]
iBooks is my best recommendation for anyone using RPR reports on an iPad. For starters, iBooks will cache your files; including PDFs. Meaning once you’ve loaded your RPR Report into iBooks, you will not need Internet access to retrieve and preview them with your clients….which is always a smart tactical move.
Steps to load an RPR Reports in iBooks:
- First either open the report directly from RPR using your iPad, or if you are working from a desktop computer email the report to yourself from RPR. If you’ve emailed it, click the “Open Report” link from iPad, and the report will open in Safari.
- In the upper-right corner click “Open in” and then choose iBooks.
