Market Leader today announced a new data centric lead generation option for real estate agents called Market Insider in an attempt to help the masses better answer the ever popular “How’s The Market?” question that you get so often.

When an offline question is being asked so often it is highly likely that consumers are also asking Google and browsing the web the same question.

Market Insider is rich in relevant data including listing vs. sold price, zip code centric sold data, community information and school information that is dynamic based on parent feedback.

What impressed me the most about Market Insider is its unique ability to generate leads. Most data centric options for Realtors currently either offer all of the charts and graphs without an email required or only provide all the information after an email is given.

Market Insider takes a proven to be successful IDX approach to market data lead generation allowing the client full access but after X number of clicks within the reports forces email registration. As someone who studies lead gen for a living I can say that I really see this converting well and have discussed the success thus far with many of the beta testers who are seeing a nice increase in lead flow.

According to their press release Market Insider is focused on helping agents four ways:

Market Insider

Market Leader is also offering some really aggressive incentives for agents to add this to their arsenal. In fact, anyone who is already a Market Leader CRM customer will have until September 30th to call in and add this for FREE. It will then be grandfathered in at that very attractive price point for life! For the many Keller Williams agents using eEdge, who have the Professional Edition, the upgrade to Market Insider will also be free until September 30th. For non Market Leader customers the cost is $49/month for agents and $249/month for offices.

Below are screenshots of the new technology out today and you can also take a live test drive here to get a better feel for the way the lead capture element works.

Kudos to Market Leader for empowering 1000’s of agents around the country with relevant information and for taking care of their existing customers by adding this piece at no cost.
