A new iPhone app called Twist is getting major buzz and deservedly so (I have been live demoing it during recent Agent Reboot’s to major applause).
It solves a big problem for the oft-tardy, on-the-road Realtor.
Using your phone’s GPS functionality, combined with live traffic data, Twist can pinpoint where you are and exactly how long it will be until you get where you are going, down to the minute.
Have a client waiting for you at Starbuck’s? Send them a Twist using the app and it will let them know exactly when you will arrive.
Twist works if you are driving, walking or even using public transit.
What’s really amazing is IF you are running late, Twist will automatically text them again letting them know how many minutes behind you are!
Twist can also text them when you pull into the location you set as the destination or when you are within X number of minutes from arriving.
One of the best things about Twist is that the person you are sending the text messages to does not need to download or have the Twist app on their phone. They simply need a phone capable of receiving text messages.
