A Canadian real estate agent doesn’t just post standardized test scores of local schools on her website — she’s come up with her own system for ranking them that penalizes schools that she’s determined have lower household income and parental education levels, or a higher prevalence of single-parent households and English-as-a-second language (ESL) students.
Susi Kostyniuk, a Mississauga-based agent who’s branded herself the community’s “#1 schools advisor,” has rankled school administrators, teachers, students and their parents, who question the accuracy of her methods, The Globe and Mail (Toronto) reports.
