Real estate brokers in Fresno, California, continue to see drones as a good investment of their marketing dollars, despite an uncertain regulatory climate in which the FAA maintains that they are breaking the law if they use the remote-controlled aircraft for commercial purposes.
Big Realty REO Group broker Mark Chu tells the Fresno Bee that his drone operators have taken an online safety course, and are getting experience on the job. Realtor Rod Aluisi of Rod Aluisi Real Estate says he’s invested $7,200 in two drones and spent 100 hours learning to fly them in in a vacant field. Aluisi said the investment is paying off, because when magazine ads cost $800, “the photos better be good.” Source: fresnobee.com.
