A subsidiary of real estate and mortgage software provider Altisource Portfolio Solutions S.A., which owns and operates online auction platform Hubzu, is set to acquire Equator, a software-as-a-service provider that helps loan servicers manage transactions like foreclosures and short sales, for $70 million.
The deal is expected to close within 30 days.
