As housing costs mount in cities, many recent college graduates are finding themselves unable to afford downtown studio apartments.
So in order to meet demand among 20-somethings for urban dwellings, developers in Washington, D.C., and other major cities have proposed micro-housing developments that would offer units that resemble college dorm rooms.
One proposed D.C. project would create units that measure between 330 and 380 square feet, according to The Washington Post.
