Windermere Solutions is changing its name to Moxi Works and launching a new software offering that merges a customer relationship management platform, email marketing, listing presentation tool, intranet and agent websites into one broker platform.
Spun off by Seattle-based brokerage Windermere Real Estate four years ago, Windermere Solutions is perhaps best known for its TouchCMA buyer and seller presentation tool. Windermere Real Estate is an investor in Moxi Works — the name of both the rebranded firm and the new product — but the company operates independently of its former parent.
Moxi Works is unique among broker software platforms in its ability to give brokers insights into how their agents manage their contacts, said Moxi Works CEO York Baur. That insight helps with coaching and upping agents’ productivity, he said.
The product also helps brokers maintain a consistent brand presence through an email system, websites, email marketing and the TouchCMA product, Baur said.
With the Moxi Works platform, brokerage can see how agents work their sphere at a high level and can help coach them to maximize the business they generate from it, but they don’t see details, he said.
Windermere Real Estate’s 7,000 agents, who gained early access to the Moxi Works system this spring, do 82 percent of their business from the people who already know and trust them, Baur said. That’s almost twice the industry standard, he said.
Windermere’s expertise of helping its agents cultivate business from their spheres of influence is baked into the Moxi Works platform, Baur said.
After inputting agents’ annual gross commission income goals, their MLS activity and the people in their sales flow, the system suggests a prioritized set of tasks for each agent to complete to meet their sales target.
Baur envisions making the Moxi Works system a full end-to-end cloud-based software platform by partnering with digital transaction management systems that would allow brokers to do a deal from lead to close all in one place.
Prices for Moxi Works vary depending on the size of the market and how much support a brokerage wants, Baur said.
Currently, the firm provides software for 25,000 agents in close to 36 brokerages, he said.
Moxi Works will be available only to firms outside of Windermere Real Estate’s core market area of the Pacific Northwest, Baur said. Windermere Real Estate has 7,000 agents in 300 offices in the Western U.S. and Mexico.
Mid-Atlantic and Northeast regional brokerage Long & Foster Real Estate began providing TouchCMA to its agents in August. TouchCMA baked estimated commute times powered by INRIX Drive Time into its platform in March.
