Filled with antiquity, the notable town center is complete with a century-old functioning courthouse, and the main street is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Nevertheless, Georgetown provides a small town atmosphere without losing sight of residents’ current interests. Bars, restaurants, shops and local wineries scatter the main stretch – commonly referred to as, “the Most Beautiful Town Square in Texas.”
