The Address, a Long Beach, California-based independent luxury brokerage, has added Andy Dane Carter to its team of agents.
Carter, who comes to the indie brokerage from Realty Source, specialized in luxury properties in southern California and has two podcasts — one about real estate and another about finding motivation in daily life. At the moment, over 200,000 people follow him on Instagram.
“Long Beach is a big city that feels small because there are so many pockets,” said Carter in a prepared statement. “There is so much potential here because of the support The Address provides.”
According to The Address, the decision to bring Carter on board is due in part to the brokerage’s efforts to expand its roster of agents who combine technology with their real estate work.
“Because he has a full-time video crew, post-production team and the capacity for podcasting, we are able to add this as another value to our growing brokerage,” Troy Palmquist, vice president and founder of The Address, said in a statement. “With Andy now a part of our team, and the grand opening of our newly built state-of-the-art headquarters in Newport, we are excited to see The Address become even more of a household name in southern California.”
The Address, which partnered with the 14-agent luxury brokerage 4 Malibu in August, opened its new Agoura Hills headquarters earlier this year. With 49 agents, The Address now operates in Agoura Hills, Channel Islands Harbor, Newport Beach and Malibu.
The team at The Address has high hopes for their work with Carter and expansion across the southern part of the state. They will be officially celebrating their new headquarters in December.
“This is an exciting time and I look forward to sharing this adventure with all of those that believed in us enough to join early and become part of something great,” said Zac Eglit, the managing director and co-owner of The Adress, in a press statement. “I cannot wait to see what the future brings.”
