As chief marketing officer, Bohutinsky led Zillow to its biggest year of exposure yet in 2013 with a national housing policy discussion with President Obama moderated by Zillow’s CEO Spencer Rascoff and a national TV, Internet and print ad campaign. The marketing efforts paid off; Zillow grew its Web and mobile market share over the course of the year. Prior to joining Zillow in 2005, Bohutinsky ran communications for discount travel site Hotwire. She led the PR launch of Hotwire in 2000, and continued through the company’s $675 million acquisition by IAC/InterActiveCorp in 2003. Bohutinsky started her career as a broadcast journalist, working for various CBS, NBC and ABC affiliates, and she holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism and mass communications from Washington and Lee University.
