Simon Baker and James Gray, veterans of realestate.com.au operator REA Group, have founded a new business to provide property portals with “plug and play” products and services.

The new business, Property Portal Accelerators, announced six launch partners — ListGlobally, Transmit, Distil Networks, DIAKRIT, Nestoria Australia and PredictiveMatch.

“We have assembled some of the best products and services to help any property portal accelerate their growth while taking the risk out of new product development and deployment,” Baker said in a statement.

“We work closely with our customers to ensure that the right accelerator products and services are selected given the stage of property portal growth. We will continue to look for new products and services to bring to market to make the lives of property portal owners and operators easier.”

Distil Networks provides data security for clients including property portals. DIAKRIT provides 3-D floor plans and other “rich media” for real estate companies and portals. PredictiveMatch is a Melbourne, Australia-based “classifieds recommendations engine.”

Baker and Gray have ties to several of Property Portal Accelerators’ other launch partners.

Baker is the founder and executive chairman of Classified Ad Ventures Pty. Ltd., a “digital marketing agency for the real estate industry” with offices in the U.S. and Australia that’s not to be confused with Cars.com operator Classified Ventures LLC, the former owner of Apartments.com and HomeGain.com. Gray is Classified Ad Ventures’ head of sales.

Classified Ad Ventures launched ListGlobally, a  real estate syndication network for more than 100 portals, as a stand-alone company in 2010. Baker is the executive chairman of ListGlobally, and Gray is director of sales for ListGlobally’s Asia-Pacific region.

Transmit is a data feed management service offered by Classified Ad Ventures.

Property search portal Nestoria Australia is owned by Nestoria Australia Ltd., a partnership between Classified Ad Ventures and Lokku Ltd.
