National appraisal and real estate owned (REO) management company LRES recently highlighted the performance of top appraisers and agents who list bank-owned homes at its annual vendor awards.

Part of LRES’ Vendor Loyalty Program, the awards are based on a comprehensive view of the REO agents’ and appraisers’ performances.

“LRES values the outstanding performance of these very effective REO agents and appraisers, and we recognize their commitment to helping us produce the best results for our customers,” said Roger Beane, the firm’s founder and CEO.

For REO agents, LRES evaluated the agent’s records associated with occupancy status, the number of evictions, listings, closings, broker price opinion (BPO) turnaround times, the ratio of sales price to BPO and the number of days on the market.

Baltimore agent Bob Steele won the REO agent award for the second consecutive year and was joined by top-performing agents Andrew Lee of Citrus Heights, California; Luis Danilo Aleman of Hialeah, Florida; and Ozzy Morena of Miami.

LRES’ top appraisers were selected by evaluating acceptance rates, revision rate and turnaround time compliance. For these appraisers, additional qualifications, such as whether the appraisals were market value supported, compared to recent and proximate evaluations, met Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP) compliance and maintained a general sense of vendor professionalism also factored into the selection process.

Top appraisers recognized this year were Nelson Roque of Orlando; Fred Wheatley of Taneytown, Maryland, Adriano Rodrigues of Matawan, New Jersey; and Daniel Finley of Chicago. All four appraisers received the award for the third consecutive year.

LRES offers property valuations, asset management and technology solutions for mortgage bankers, lenders, servicers, credit unions and private investors.
