After a year of perfecting Inman Select, we’ve taken our award-winning reporting and community-sourced journalism to the next level — the local level.

Today, Inman Local launched in six inaugural markets around the country:

  • Chicagoland
  • Houston metro area
  • Miami/South Florida
  • Los Angeles metro area
  • San Francisco Bay Area
  • Washington, D.C., metro area

Readers in these locales will be given access to news and analysis about their own backyards. We’re covering market news, brokerage expansions, agent success, lead generation, marketing tactics, unique listings, partnerships and more — all specific to your region.

And that’s not all. Inman Local is also a place for the movers-and-shakers in each of these regions to share their own perspectives and stories, their listings, their wins and their losses. Our robust national contributor program has been drilled down to a local level, and Inman is the only place in the industry where you can share your own voice alongside the writing of our staff journalists. (Interested in becoming a contributor for your region? Email local@sandbox.inman.com.)

Because we’re committed to keeping all of our readers on top of what’s happening in real estate, Inman Local readers will still see all of our top national stories in their news feeds.

We’ve also redesigned our website to make navigation easy. You can toggle back-and-forth between your local site and the national site, visit other regions around the country or keep the site set to whichever page serves you best.

The real estate industry is changing rapidly, and Inman is committed to helping you navigate those changes efficiently and successfully. Our vision is to bring you all of the news and information we already provide on a national level — and localize it.

We’ll be rolling out to more markets as we perfect and grow this program, and our Inman readers will be the first to know what’s next. Stay tuned for more — and enjoy the local coverage we’ve put together so far. It’s just the beginning!
