As part of the partnership Realty Associates also merges with Latter & Blum Inc., a New Orleans-based brokerage that was the first firm to affiliate under ERA’s Powered program in 2011. Since the affiliation, Latter & Blum is said to have doubled the size and scope of its operations.

“Joining with Realty Associates allows us to take advantage of the substantial population movement in and between all of our existing markets and Houston,” stated Richard Haase, president of Latter & Blum. “As we diversify and grow our service area, we also lower our costs.”

In the last five years, ERA Real Estate has formed affiliations with a number of locally or regionally-focused brokerages and expanded into a number of markets: Denver, San Francisco, Louisville, Charlotte, Raleigh, Los Angeles and Nashville. Each firm/office that affiliates with ERA is independently owned and operated.
