Inman has launched a new Facebook group for companies who sell products and services to the real estate industry. Inman’s Real Estate Vendor Exchange is a forum for advice and mentorship where companies can share best practices, war stories and advice on how to sell products and services to agents, brokers, franchises, lenders, title companies, teams, MLSs and Realtor associations.

How did you land that big deal with Realogy? With NAR? With that tiny but important broker in Arkansas?

Do you use a call center? Have you figured out DIY sales? Do you outsource sales? How do you price your products? Which shows do you exhibit at and why? What is your sales cycles to brokers? What is a funny customer story?

This is a closed group where you can feel free to be open with your questions and with your advice.

“I’ve been in search of a place where affiliates can come together and mastermind, where we can seek honest advice without coming across as just self promoting. Having a forum that enables us to better our business, increase each other’s sales & marketing skills, and be frank about our trials and errors while growing,” said Jacy Riedmann, vice president of Amoura Productions Real Estate Photography & Video.

Riedmann will be an administrator of the new group, along with industry leaders Greg Robertson, Andrew Flachner, Jeff Chalmers, Anthony Mann, Emily Letig, Jeff Lobb and Laura Monroe.

“Real estate technology vendors play such an important role in bringing innovative ideas to the industry. We need better ways to communicate with, understand, and empower real estate professionals. I don’t think there is better way to do that than this new Inman group,” said Monroe, director of marketing at RealSatisfied, a real estate customer satisfaction platform.

Members are limited to companies and individuals who sell to the real estate industry. It’s a closed group. If you qualify, join here.

“Our goal to help teach best practices to the many companies who are selling products and services to the industry” said Inman publisher Brad Inman. “We have tapped a great group of administrators who will insure that the group will be a safe environment, operated independently and ethically, so companies can learn from one another about best practices.”
