On August 2, data visualization firm Graphiq announced an enhanced collaboration with CoreLogic, a financial and property data provider. Graphiq can now deliver instant interactive data visualizations on over 150 million properties across the nation through the Graphiq Real Estate API.

Incorporating CoreLogic data allows Santa Barbara-based Graphiq to build graphs with minimal time-to-market and reduced costs for real estate companies, including MLSs, brokerages and real estate portals.

“Graphiq integrates all of CoreLogic’s public records, market trends and a variety of data sets about every home in the United States,” said Alex Rosenberg, vice president of Graphiq. “We’re tracking evaluations, home sales history, land and lot details as well as more aggregates that help put homes into context.”

Aside from property data details, Grapiq customers have the power to share visualizations on public school ratings, local businesses and other contextual data points – all on the same API.

This is not the first partnership between Graphiq and CoreLogic but a more extended alliance between the two. Previously, CoreLogic provided data available on Graphiq subsidiary, FindtheHome.com.

Many real estate brokerages don’t have data outside of the MLS feed, so working with Graphiq allows them to integrate data visualizations that would otherwise be too cumbersome and costly to implement.

“This product is really geared toward the broker community. For a smaller broker with only a few dozen agent websites they want to incorporate the visualizations on, it’s affordable,” Rosenberg said.

Graphiq says its data visualizations increase time-on-site engagement by up to 40 percent compared to stand-alone pages. The partnership makes property data visualizations more accessible to real estate companies, who in turn can enhance relationships with potential clients and ultimately drive conversions.

Without a large engineering team, Rosenberg explains, integrating property data into a presentation form is virtually impossible. Now, clients make a simple API call to create modular insights based on address or zip code.

Currently, Graphiq offers CMS plugins that recommend the most relevant visualizations based on content. Customers can also access the library of over 10 billion visualizations and speak with specialists on the 250 billion data points in their knowledge graph.

“We’re excited about bringing the strength and reputation that CoreLogic has in real estate plus our technological capabilities to roll this out to a large set of customers,” Rosenberg said. “We think the world should be a world of data abundance, where every person who wants to incorporate real estate data can do so cost-effectively.”
