- Make a decision everyday to live purposefully. Don't wing it -- ever.
- The ones who know and love you are the most referable sources, and they need to get the same respect as the prospect you don't know.
- Some of the best mentors are not in real estate. Don't be afraid to look outside your circle.
When Realtor and Next Home Vice President Imran Poladi got the news in the fall of 2012 that he had 41 tumors in his body, he had to make a decision. Would he let statistics and medical professionals dictate his future, or would he choose to live on purpose every day?
After previously beating cancer in 2007 and financially losing everything, he thought there could be no lower low. Poladi chose not to hear his predicted medical fate and forged ahead with treatment, prayer — and a speaking tour. His cancer journey videos inspired others, and his message was one that people wanted to hear.
From his worldwide presentation, we invited Poladi on the show today to talk to us about how some of the lessons he learned from cancer changed the way he leads, lives and performs in the real estate industry.
